Carry-on

It is allowed to carry musical instruments in the cabin, taking into account that they must comply with the measurements and weight of the carry-on baggage. If they exceed the established limits they must be sent to the hold and the corresponding charge will be applied for excess baggage or oversized, as the case may be.

Cabin seat

You can transport a larger musical instrument if you book and pay for an additional cabin seat at the same fare and class as your ticket. You must also meet the following conditions:

• Book the seat in advance, through our Contact Center.

• Present your properly packed instrument to be safely installed on the seat.

• It should weigh no more than 45 kg (99 lb) and measure no more than 41 x 41 x 90 cm (length x width x height). (16.1 x 16.1 x 35.4 in).

Note: This additional ticket doesn’t consider checked baggage, even if the fare would initially have provided for it.

Checked

(FR) Cello, tuba, double-bass or bass drum: In order to be transported in the hold, they must be packaged in hard-sided cases, and will be subject to special baggage charge.
