Provided your musi­cal instru­ment does not exceed the dimen­sions or weight of a nor­mal item of hand bag­gage, you can take it with you as hand bag­gage with­out pri­or notification.

If your musi­cal instru­ment exceeds the dimen­sions or weight for hand bag­gage, you will have to book an addi­tion­al seat for it. Please note:

a) This seat can­not be booked online. Book the addi­tion­al seat and your own tick­et through a trav­el agent or a SWISS point of sale.

b) Please note that trans­porta­tion in the cab­in depends on the dimen­sions of the seats and the respec­tive air­craft type.

c) If your instru­ment exceeds these dimen­sions, it can­not be trans­port­ed in the cab­in but will have to be checked in. Your trav­el agent or the SWISS point of sale will be able to tell you more.

d) The price for the addi­tion­al seat is the cur­rent­ly valid tick­et price.

e) This ser­vice is not avail­able on code­share flights.
